  • LA County  — 2.593 new confirmed cases, 13,129 total; 1% increase from 7/12
  • 13 new deaths — Total deaths: 3,822; .3%% increase from 4/12
  • LA City — 964 new cases, 56,599 total; 1.7% increase 4/12

Emergency Renters Assistance Program (ERAS)
The application window for this assistance is Monday, July 13th – Friday, July 17th. 

Please note that while only tenants may apply for the subsidy, the payment will go directly to the landlord, who will have to agree to City terms to accept the payment. 

The basic eligibility requirements for tenants are:

  • They live in a multi-family unit that is located in the City of LA
  • They can provide proof of tenancy
  • They earned at or below 80% of Area Median Income prior to March 13, 2020
  • They can provide documentation that they have suffered a loss or reduction of income due to COVID-19 after March 13, 2020″

L.A. Al Fresco 
The L.A. Al Fresco supports outdoor dining opportunities for restaurants hit hard by the COVID-19 crisis. The City is offering streamlined in the following areas:

  • Street Parking Spaces (Parklets)
  • Lane Closures
  • Street Closures

Summer Night Lights 2020
Summer Night Lights is offering virtual programming, meals, dry goods, and activity bundles at select sites from July 6, 2020- August 14, 2020. Each week they will have different dates and sites and up to 100 slots at each site to participate in special events. More information here.
