The Budget & Finance committee manages the budget and financial reporting for the East Hollywood Neighborhood Council according to the directives of the City Clerk.

Duties include, but are not limited to, (1) reviewing the annual budget and proposed expenditures; (2) reporting to the Board on a monthly basis, the financial status of the EHNC through the Monthly Expenditure Report (MER) process; and (3) a review and consideration of all financial proposals in committee before making recommendations to the Governing Board. All funding requests made to the EHNC must be presented and vetted by the Budget and Finance Committee, with the exception that the committee cannot meet in a timely manner, then funding requests may be presented at the committee that most fits the description of the request. The Budget and Finance Committee shall be chaired by the Treasurer and co-chaired by the Corresponding Treasurer. The Budget and Finance Committee shall meet at least six (6) times a year. |
