At our May 20, 2024 Special Meeting we voted to fund Neighborhood Purpose Grants focused on providing services to the homeless in East Hollywood:
- Serve LA operates in East Hollywood: $4,706 to replace refrigerators for their community meals program
- Covenant House California: $3,000 to support youth programming and neighborhood engagement, to help youth leave homelessness
- Bicycle Kitchen La Bici-Cocina: $1,500 to conduct educational workshops on cycling safety and maintenance
- A Million Drops: Request for $1,000 for laundry vouchers
