COVID-19 Updates
Effective 9/2/20, Hair Salons and Barbershops can reopen immediately, operating at 25% occupancy for indoor services. Employees and Customers must continue to comply with physical distancing and face covering requirements, among other L.A. County public health protocols.
Starting 9/14/20, L.A. County schools can offer on-campus services for small, stable, cohorts of K-12 students who need learning support (e.g., students with IEPs, ESL, or specialized learning needs). Schools must meet the criteria laid out by the County public health protocols, and keep students in cohorts of 12 or fewer students. L.A. County will NOT offer a school waiver program for elementary schools until later this Fall when additional guidance can be available.

Mobile Pop-Up COVID-19 Testing Locations
The Los Angeles City Mobile Testing Group is bringing COVID-19 testing to communities throughout the City for people who are unable to drive to a testing site. Testing is walk up only. Appointment isn’t necessary.
Please be sure to bring your insurance information. If you don’t have insurance, bring your Driver’s License or another form of identification. There is no cost to patients for any test, whether or not you have insurance.

Cooling Centers
Cooling centers will be open from 12pm-8pm on September 4 – September 7, 2020. Patrons are encouraged to call ahead to check availability- COVID-19 social distancing requirements have resulted in reduced capacity at the sites. All centers will operate following LA County Public Health’s Guidelines for Cooling Center Operations.
