COVID-19 Updates

Effective 9/2/20, Hair Salons and Barbershops can reopen immediately, operating at 25% occupancy for indoor services.  Employees and Customers must continue to comply with physical distancing and face covering requirements, among other L.A. County public health protocols.

Starting 9/14/20, L.A. County schools can offer on-campus services for small, stable, cohorts of K-12 students who need learning support (e.g., students with IEPs, ESL, or specialized learning needs).  Schools must meet the criteria laid out by the County public health protocols, and keep students in cohorts of 12 or fewer students. L.A. County will NOT offer a school waiver program for elementary schools until later this Fall when additional guidance can be available.
