About Ninoska Suarez

As a longstanding resident of East Hollywood, I love my neighborhood from the lights on Virgil Ave to our beautiful Cahuenga Library. As a daughter of immigrants, I understand the challenges our community faces. I have a longstanding interest in improving public policy around the very visible and related issues of homelessness and housing affordability in Los Angeles. I am excited to continue my involvement as President of EHNC. In addition to my leadership in the EHNC, I have been active for 20 years as a leader at a Boyle Heights church, helping organize soup kitchens; immigrant rights information sessions, and several youth-driven activities. Working in the Nonprofit sector, I have a passion for supporting underprivileged and venerable families in East Hollywood through resources and activism. I love to network and connect with our neighbors and bridging the gap between immigrant families and local government. I am looking forward to serving the East Hollywood community with dignity and respect.
