Homelessness and Displacement Prevention

Duties include but are not limited to addressing issues of homelessness and displacement within the boundaries of the EHNC; addressing stakeholder concerns with city services and non-profits; and working to prevent homelessness and displacement by connecting stakeholders with services. The Homelessness & Displacement Prevention Representative shall be chair of the Homelessness & Displacement Prevention Committee upon the seating of each new board; unless otherwise agreed upon by the board. The Homeless and Displacement Prevention committee shall meet at least six (6) times per year.

The purpose is to ensure Angelenos are aware of their rights regardless of language barrier. Date for the event is tentatively scheduled for sometime in the year 2020.
