Join us for the next meeting of the East Hollywood Neighborhood Council on Monday, May 20, 7pm at the Hollywood Hotel.
We will be considering a number of grants and want your opinion on which ones to go forward with. The possibilities include:
- A Million Drops: Request for $4,800 for laundry vouchers
- Bicycle Kitchen La Bici-Cocina: Requests $2,500 to conduct educational workshops on cycling safety and maintenance
- Covenant House California: Requests $3,000 to support youth programming and neighborhood engagement, to help youth leave homelessness
- Hollywood Police Activities League: Request for $2,500
- Parents, Educators/Teachers & Students in Action: Requests $5,000 for assembling and distributing Back to School backpacks
- Serve LA: Requests $4,706 to replace refrigerators for their community meals program
