Outreach Committee

The EHNC Outreach Committee discusses and plans strategies to increase awareness of the EHNC among its stakeholders.

Having been in existence even before the EHNC’s certification by the City of Los Angeles in 2007,  the EHNC Outreach Committee has gained a reputation citywide for its innovative outreach strategies to its stakeholders. From gaining interest and involvement to immigrant communities through local schools, to embracing technology via the web, e-mail and social networking, to the EHNC’s visual branding and creating products such as banners, business cards, fliers, reusable grocery bags and bumper stickers, the EHNC Outreach Committee continues to push the boundaries of community outreach and publicity. The EHNC Outreach Committee is also visible in the community via outreach booths in large public events such as the East Hollywood ArtCycle, the Songkran Thai New Year Festival and theLive, Work and Play in East Hollywood health and resource fair.
